Classroom instruction by qualified and experienced teachers emphasizes the spoken language is combined with hands-on activities both in and out of the classroom. Classes are taught as small groups and students advance at their own individual pace. As enhancement to instruction, this program also includes 4 cultural excursions: Toledo, Salamanca, Segovia & El Escorial-Valle de los Caídos) and preparatory sessions for the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) of the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), twice a week.

Classes are taught at the prestigious Àvila Campus of the University of Salamanca. You'll participate in four hours of daily intensive language instruction at the campus and enjoy many cultural activities in beautiful Àvila, designated a World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1985. In addition, students in this program will participate in OPI practice sessions twice a week. Three weekend excursions to Madrid, El Escorial and Segovia are included in this program.
