Kansai Gaidai University - Asian Studies Program
(ONLINE ONLY)

This program will only be offered while KGU is not able to offer face-to-face programming.

Up to 8 credits
Eligibility:
Minimum EMU GPA of 3.0.* Must be nominated by EMU Japanese faculty. Do not apply without expressed permission from Japanese faculty.


Overview
This Asian Studies Program is an online oriented program that students take Japanese Language courses and some selected content courses focusing on Japan and Asia from his/her home-based place. Students can take the credit or non-credit courses, but only the KGU credit courses will transfer in at EMU as earned credit. Students will pay tuition directly to KGU and some additonal fees to EMU. See the budget sheet for detail.

Application Notes
This program requires a dual application process in which both EMU and KGU must approve students to participate. You will receive notification to complete the KGU application upon completion of this EMU application, approval and nomination. The study abroad office will assist with application and registration.
